The Global People Conversation
The 21st century has already seen profound changes in the way the worldwide church thinks about its participation in God’s mission. Wycliffe Global Alliance organisations are increasingly aware that our strategies and practises may no longer align with current realities and future needs. For instance: What should a “sending” organisation even look like today?
The Alliance addressed these challenges by hosting 2023’s yearlong Global People Conversation. Gatherings were held in each of our four regions, attended by 120 people from 75 Alliance organisations, including many involved in our participation stream called ‘People’. Then, a final group met to collectively process what we learned together.
