Themes & Values

The theme for Global Gathering 2024 is Growing Together. This carries at least two meanings:

• Growing closer to each other
• Learning and developing together

Every element of the Global Gathering — from large sessions to table groups to meals and even periods of rest, will express this theme in at least one of these interwoven ways:

• Be Community
• Explore & Discern
• Inspire
• Worship & Celebrate

Online participation will emphasize and encourage this theme and expressions as well.

Core Values

Each day’s programming and activities will focus on a different Core Value that the Wycliffe Global Alliance community is built upon.

• Thursday 31 Oct.: Community
• Friday 1 Nov.: The Church as central in God’s mission
• Saturday 2 Nov.: The Word translated
• Sunday 3 Nov. (Sabbath): The Glory of God among the nations
• Monday 4 Nov.: Dependence on God

The other Core Value, Christlikeness, will be built into every day, because it is so closely linked to the overall theme of Growing Together.
