Live-stream interpretation
Version française, Versión en español, Versi Bahasa Indonesia
Dear live-stream participants,
During the Global Gathering we will use an internet based system called live.voice for simultaneous interpretation into French, Spanish, and Indonesian. Because it is internet based, even you around the world can benefit from it. You access it through an app that you need to install in your smartphone and you listen to the interpretation through the headphones/earbuds connected to your smartphone. Please install the app before the Global Gathering starts.!
Below you will find detailed instructions on how to set up live.voice.
We look forward to having you join us from around the world,
Hannes Wiesmann
Global Gathering Director
Here is how live.voice works:
Please download the live.voice app to your smartphone:
After installing the app, open it and you will see the following screen:
Enter the listener code, 625886, in the empty boxes to access interpretation for anything happening on the stage.
Alternatively you can use the following QR code:
The QR code will take you directly to the listener channels of the Global Gathering, if you enter the numbers, you need to click the red arrow to get to the listener channels:
At the moment none of these channels are clickable. Don’t worry: If you see this screen you know that you are all set.
During the Global Gathering, when the interpreters are at work, the buttons will become red and clickable. You put in your earbuds or put on your headphones, click the appropriate language (make sure you choose the livestream version - otherwise the voice will run ahead of the image…) and, voilá, enjoy the meeting.
