Communication Forum 2021
March 2021, the Wycliffe Global Alliance communication team hosted a virtual training event. Organizers of the forum focussed on four areas of development.
- To gain a better understanding of good communication practices in the global contexts.
- To be encouraged in their spiritual growth and integrating this with their work;
- To have an increased sense of belonging within the Alliance and a deepened understanding of working with the Alliance's partners
- To strengthen relationships with others from within the community of communication workers.
One presenter and participant, Silke Sauer, said, "I found the workshop very well organized. There was a good choice of relevant topics and hands-on presentations. Altogether very valuable – well done!"
The topics at the Forum included story writing, social media strategies, how to safely tell stories from sensitive contexts and smartphone photography. The sessions were recorded on ZOOM and additional links to resources were provided to participants.
