The rate of new translations published has accelerated tremendously in recent years due to innovations and new strategies spurred on by Vision 2025 - the goal adopted in 1999 by Wycliffe Bible Translators International and SIL International that, by the year 2025, a translation program will have begun in every remaining language in the world still needing one.
