Contributing to the El Salvador Sign Language Bible translation project
The meeting of pastors of the Bible Translation and Scripture Use Table of El Salvador, held on May 19, was attended by 28 people, including members of the Wycliffe Global Alliance Americas team. The programme included a presentation of the El Salvador Sign Language Translation Project (TBLESSA), whose purpose is that the Deaf community of El Salvador can be spiritually nourished by the Word of God. After learning about the TBLESSA Project and its needs, the El Salvador Table expressed their generosity by raising an initial offering of $87 USD for the project, and offering opportunities for the project to be presented in various churches. Let us thank God for the churches willing to contribute so that the Deaf community of El Salvador may have the Word of God in their sign language.

Generosity at the Americas Global People Conversation
The Alliance Americas Area team hosted the Global People Conversation from April 18-20, with the participation of 53 people from some 30 organisations. During the meeting, a need from one of the Alliance organisations was shared with the group of participants. The director and board of the Venezuelan General Missions Directorate (DGM) had considered not continuing with the Alliance, since they did not have the resources to pay the annual fee for fiscal years 2022 and 2023 due to the country’s critical financial situation. The average monthly salary in Venezuela is currently $5.29 USD, so paying $400 USD per year has been challenging. Generosity was immediately expressed by all participants and an offering in the amount of $969 USD was raised ($539 USD in cash and $430 USD in promised bank transfers and PayPal donations). Praise God for the generosity shown by the participants to cover payment of DGM's annual contribution.
