Pray for Buhutu

Praise the Lord for the Bible Translation Association's translation consultants who are very busy with a number of checking projects in March. Kidu Magi is checking the Gizrra language books of Acts of the Apostles, Philemon and 2 John. Duncan Kasokason is checking portions of Genesis in Kanasi and Buhutu  which are part of the Translators' Training Course assignments for the two translation teams. Aluis Simatab is preparing to check Isaiah in the Guhu Samane language in April. Praise the Lord for consultant training being organized to train more Papua New Guineans to check translated Scriptures.

Pray for the Buhutu (Milne Bay) team as they do consultant checking* of the Gospel of Mark and portions of Acts in Ipouli village in early November. Pray for the Lord to bless this time with translation consultant Duncan Kasokason.

*Consultant Check. A consultant thoroughly goes over the translation with the team, checking for accuracy, clarity and naturalness, and looking for omissions, extraneous thoughts or possible misconceptions.
