Pray that the exegetical checking on these two Old Testament projects would be completed this year, and that the other checks (proper names, spelling, parallel passages, and key terms) would also advance well. Ask God for good health for the teams—there is a constant threat of malaria and typhoid—and for safety riding motorbikes and driving a car in rural areas. Pray for the teams to bring in sufficient finances to run the two projects, and pray for spiritual protection for all the participants. Pray that the literacy and Scripture-use programs will continue to prepare people to read and apply the Scriptures to their lives.
