Pray for Huarijio

As the team checks the translated text for clarity in local villages, the Huarijio are excited about how much easier it is to understand the Scriptures in their mother tongue than in the national language. Pray that this excitement will spread as they distribute the translated Scriptures to small home groups even before the final New Testament is published. Right now the team is working on the final formatting checks. Pray for accuracy in their work as they make any necessary corrections. Thank the Lord that the Huarijio dictionary is now edited. Dictionaries help prepare new readers, as well as develop people’s love for their own language.

The Huarijío New Testament in Mexico is likely to be ready for publication in 1-2 years. Ask God to guide and protect the people and processes involved in the final stages of checking and preparation for typesetting and publication. Pray that the Holy Spirit will increase spiritual hunger for His Word in the Huarijío communities.
