Pray for Guayabero

Guayabero readers, with the assistance of Wycliffe’s partner organization, Faith Comes by Hearing, will record the New Testament. This project is scheduled to start in March 2010. After the recording is completed, some Guayaberos will be trained to use Proclaimer units or players with CDs to encourage people to have home Bible studies. Pray that God will use the recorded New Testament to encourage the Guayabero people and that His Word will impact their lives.

New Testament for the Guayabero people: Colombia. Pray for the publication process of this New Testament. During June, it is being typeset in Dallas, Texas. From there it will go to Bogota, Colombia for printing. It may be published during 2009. Pray for four members of the translation team who are concerned about health issues. They want the strength to participate in the distribution of the New Testament and in fostering its use. Pray too for the team* as they continue work on Genesis and an Old Testament overview. Praise God for three teams of missionaries, in addition to these Bible translators, working among the Guayabero.
