- LETRA presents their first Bible Video en Sign Language: Argentina
Argentina [2010-09-10] —
LETRA* Argentina celebrates with all of their colleagues the presentation of the first Bible Video en Argentine Sign Language, composed of 3 DVDs containing "The Plan of God" and complementary materials (dictionaries, questions and answers, and illustrations). With a total of 200 deaf persons involved, the presentation was very emotional and full of joy. As some of the leaders expressed, "Today, we have broken a spiritual chain and we begin a new era of production of videos for the Argentine deaf." LETRA - Latin Americans in Translation and Literacy

This is the largest group of trainees so far.
- Advances: Argentina
Argentina [2010-03-30] —
LETRA* Argentina is celebrating the advance of literacy work among the Toba people. A new site and recently published materials have been a blessing. Now the Toba coordinator of the project, Damian Medina, wants to serve full time. Ask God to make this possible. The Argentine Sign Language translation team is processing the last permits they need to use video background clips for recording. Pray that God will bless all those involved in these projects so that each of these language groups may have God's Word in the language that speaks to their hearts.
- Progress in sign language translation: Argentina
Argentina [2009-05-27] —
Progress in sign language translation: Argentina. The translation of the Bible into Argentine Sign Language has now entered the stage of revision of the videos. Videos of people signing, rather than the printed page, are one effective means of communicating the translated Word of God to the Deaf. Pray that the Deaf people who revise these videos will be guided by the Holy Spirit to make relevant observations. Pray that those doing revisions who do not know the Lord will be impacted powerfully by the Word in Sign, and will come to know Him. Pray for LETRA* Argentina as they continue to sponsor this language project. *LETRA - Latin Americans in Translation and Literacy

- Praise and Thanksgiving from LETRA Argentina
Argentina [2008-12-10] —
Throughout this past year we have asked for prayer for funds for the translation if the Bible into Argentine sign language and for the literacy campaign among the Toba people of Argentina. The Lord has answered. Both programs are in progress. The Lord also guided the LETRA* Argentina office to a new location where they have more space at a lower cost. They praise God also for help he has given various members of their personnel during the year. Please pray for them as they enter the new year with a positive attitude and expectations for all God desires to do in and through them. LETRA - Latin Americans in Translation and Literacy.
- Advances for LETRA en Argentina
Argentina [2008-10-01] —
LETRA* Argentina gives thanks to God that the two translation projects in which they are directly involved, Toba and Argentine Sign ,are moving forward with good success. They ask for prayer for God to provide a volunteer who will be capable of designing, administering and updating their web site. They also ask prayer for Nely, their office secretary, who is struggling with health problems and facing major surgery.
