Malalamai speakers need Scripture: Papua New Guinea
Papua New Guinea [2012-06-21] —
The Garingei and Garpunei people speak Malalamai. They live in three villages on the northern coast of Papua New Guinea. Most people are Christians although traditional magic and sorcery are still practiced in the area. Pastors use the Tok Pisin Bible in church services because there are no scriptures in the Malalamai language. Please pray that translators can be identified to begin work on the New Testament for Malalamai.
