Simbiti speakers going hungry for the Bible
United Republic of Tanzania [2010-06-29] —
Tanzania: When Pastor Waynse had finished translating the Christmas story into Simbiti, he started distributing copies. In one village a large group of people gathered to listen to him reading and were so delighted with what they heard, that they all wanted a copy. These cost 400 shillings (20 pence)—the same as the price for breakfast. They all decided to go hungry that day. Work for food that lasts! (John 6:27)
