Ethnic groups producing oral Bible Stories: Guinea Bissau

In March 2010 five ethnic groups started the OneStory* process of producing oral Bible stories in each of their languages. Using Kriol as the source language, these five teams, during the next 18 months, have a goal to produce up to 25 stories. Pray for God’s strength, good motivation and blessing as they develop oral Bible stories for their local language groups. Pray that God’s Word will impact many lives.

*OneStory: OneStory works with mother-tongue speakers to develop and record worldview-sensitive, chronological Bible “story sets” for each specific group — typically 40 to 60 stories in a two-year period. Mother-tongue speakers spread the stories to others.
