Resources

What is this about? What can I do here?

The Resources section of wycliffe.net leads you to tools and information that will enhance your participation in God’s mission and the Bible translation movement. These Resources will help you be an advocate as an individual, a mission committee, a church, or in whatever capacity you may find you have an opportunity to share what God is doing and how to be involved.

No one is too small, too large, too remote or too busy to participate meaningfully in God’s mission to bring His Good News into the minds and hearts of people of all nations in a language that speaks to them.

Here are some of the resources currently available:

Prayer resources: Short topical articles to help you pray more knowledgeably and effectively for various situations and groups of people.

Missiology:  A growing library of articles and presentations that represent missiological thinking from around the world and demonstrate how Bible translation is a part of God’s global mission.

Vision 2025:  A concise summary of the original Vision 2025 resolution passed by Wycliffe and key partners in 1999. Plus, an engaging high-definition video in numerous languages that you can use to inform and challenge others to be involved in the Vision.

Scripture access statistics: Annual updates on the progress of Bible translation.

External links: A wide range of interesting and engaging features relating to God’s mission and the critical importance of Scripture, from websites and organizations worldwide.

Blogs: Many individual friends of Bible translation are blogging their thoughts and sharing information they’ve gleaned from their own sources. We think you will find this selection thought-provoking.

Media: Videos, magazines and collections, photo journals, downloadable photos and a multilingual feature called “Photo of the Week.”

Orientation: What the Wycliffe Global Alliance is all about: a one-stop hub leading to articles on who we are, what we do, why we exist and many other helpful explanatory articles.

Wycliffe Boards: An information- and idea-sharing center for use by members of Wycliffe Participating Organization boards.
