Information on progress and remaining needs around the world
The Intercultural Communications Course began on January 20 and ends on February 19 in North Carolina. Thirty-seven participants are taking the course, which prepares linguists, support staff, field personnel and volunteers for effective and sustainable mission work around the world. The training prepares and strengthens new workers in the core elements of cross-cultural impact, spiritual resiliency, relational maturity and cultural sensitivity. The four-week course is demanding. Pray for strength, spiritual insights, good health and openness to all God desires to teach both students and staff in this current session.
Wycliffe United Kingdom
"Wycliffe Bible Translators UK exists to enable people from every nation, people group and tongue to engage with the Bible in a language which speaks to their heart."
"If we believe the good news of Christ, we are committed to the biblical story as the true story of the world…our stories, our reality, the identity of the church—indeed all human and nonhuman reality—must find its place in this one true story or nowhere."
Michael W. Goheen
Professor of Missiology at Calvin Theological Seminary
